Good Luck Kacee!

Ron's sister, Kacee, is leaving on March 4 to serve an LDS mission in Orlando, Florida. Her farewell was this past weekend. It was very nice. Her talk was great and the open house after was wonderful. Here are some pictures of all the yummy food that there was. Like I have said before, all Campbell parties have a boat load of delicious food. This was no exception.

We will miss Kacee a lot when she is gone serving for 18 months. She will be a great missionary and I am sure will have wonderful experiences. I did get a really cute picture of us with her, but for some reason it turned out really

blurry. I hope to get another picture with her before she leaves.

Valentine's Day and Anna's Birthday

We had such a fun week last week with all of the celebrations that we had going on.

First, Lucas had a Valentine's Party with his playgroup. They all had so much fun running around and playing with the toys. The kids had a yummy snack of fruit and jello jigglers made into lip shapes. Exchanging Valentine cards was really fun too. Look at all the loot that Lucas ended up with. Lucas says, "Thanks friends, for the fun party and gifts."

That evening it was off to the Old Spaghetti Factory for Anna's birthday party. As you can see, Lucas loves his cousin Anna dearly. As usual, the food was yummy! After dinner we went to the Rec Center to swim. The kids had so much fun splashing and playing in the water.

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We started the fun day off by going to lunch with Scott, Josh and Brady. We went to Salt Lake Burger Co. in Sandy. Yummy! I would recommend this place for sure. That evening Ron and I helped each other cook a wonderful meal. We had Shrimp Scampi, Lobster Tails, Asparagus with Fontina cheese and Coke with lemon (our favortie beverage.) It was delicious! If anyone needs a wonderful scampi recipe, just let me know. It was a great little family day. Oh, and don't you love Lucas's biker tattoo shirt? When I put it on him, he said, "Heart Mommy! Fire Mommy!" He looked so cute!

Super Bowl and Silly Things

OK... once again, I have been a total blog slacker. In my defense, January seems to be a pretty laid back and uneventful month.
For the Super Bowl we went over to Ron's brother's house and celebrated with the Campbell family. It was a lot of fun. Of course, there was too much food. You should have seen the spread, chicken salad sandwiches, meatballs, jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks, fruit, cheeseballs, nachos, chips and dips, buffalo balls, stuffed jalapenos, drinks and several yummy desserts. Honestly, I wish that I would have taken a picture of the food. It was unbelievable. I felt full for two days. :) It was all worth it though, because it was delicious! Here is a picture of Ron and Lucas watching the game. Lucas is playing with a pink cell phone. He is not picky about colors, he just loves phones.


Lucas is such a goof. We had the humidifier out to dry and he found the filter and put it on his head.

Lucas has this new obsession with piling all the blankets and stuffed animals that he can find and stacks them up as high as he can. He then likes to sit either under or on top of the pile. Here he is in his jammies one morning with his stash.
