I Love My Playgroup Moms!

A few weeks ago my playgroup moms/friends threw me a surprise baby shower. When I showed up to playgroup they had decorated and shouted "Surprise!" Since I am a bit dense from the pregnancy, I didn't understand what was going on. When I finally caught on, I was so happy and surprised.
The ladies spoiled me rotten. I received a bunch of gifts for the babies. They also made us all lunch. It was so yummy! They all made different yummy things including soup, rolls, salad, fruit and veggie trays and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
I even got a diaper cake, which they all made for me. It was decorated with bows for the babies. I am so excited to have cute accessories!

Shannon, Emily, Randi, Sheena, Sandi and Teisha you are the best! Thank you SO much for the surprise and all of the wonderful gifts that you gave me. Also, thanks for being great friends that I look forward to seeing every week.

Our Recent Lives

We moved in mid January. We were thankful that there was no snow that day. We knew that the time had come and that more space was needed. So we moved into a cute duplex in Murray. We love our new abode. It was so nice to get our stuff out of storage. We had so many brand new things that we had gotten from our wedding and had never used. Yahoo! It was like opening our presents all over again. Thanks to all of those who helped with the move! Since I was very helpless and pregnant, I am very grateful for the wonderful family members that helped.

Along with being very busy the last month, we have also had time to squeeze in some fun.
Ron's nephew, Cameron, turned 10 and invited Lucas to his party at Young Chefs Academy. The kids all had so much fun making homemade spaghetti. Lucas is little, so he needed a bit of supervision from Ron. He loved doing all of the preparation to make the meal. Maybe I should let him help me out with the cooking at home more often.

Happy Birthday Cameron!
A few weeks ago for playgroup, we went to South Towne Mall. We rode the train, played at the dinosaur playground, had yummy lunch at Hot Dog on a Stick and rode the carousel. We love our playgroup!

Ready to Pop? Not even close

I know that I have not written any posts for quite sometime. I have been busy with moving and have not had internet access. I am still "borrowing" the internet, but will catch you up with our lives in the next post.
Here I am at 27 weeks and 5 days. Holy cow, you say? I look like I am about ready to pop because I am measuring 37 weeks for a single baby. I guess that is what having twins does to you. I just can't quite comprehend in my mind exactly how big I am going to get. Oh my!

Things are going great. I love being pregnant and feeling these two little girls move around inside me. I have had some issues with my back and pelvis hurting, but with how fast I am growing, I am not at all surprised. The babies are doing wonderful. At my last appointment, I was 27 weeks and 3 days. The babies were measuring 28 weeks 3 days and 29 weeks. The nurse told me it is really good that they are measuring a bit big just in case they come early. I am still planning on getting to full term at 37 weeks. :)

I will try to continue to remember to take pictures of me and my ever expanding waist line.
