Campbell Family Picnic

Last Sunday we had a picnic/bbq with Ron's family. It was so much fun. We went up to this park called Washington Terrace Park. It is up Parleys Canyon nestled among Mountain Dell golf course. This park is wonderful! There is a ton of shade, a huge pavilion, a playground, horse shoe pits, a volleyball court and a lot of grass for the kids to run around and play.
Lucas had a lot of fun with his cousins. He loved playing on the playground and holding Jared and Jen's dog. His favorite part of the day was the drinking fountain. He probably stood there for at least 1 hour.
Some of the family played a fun game of volleyball, others watched. Nice air that you are getting Lisa! If you look at Lucas's picture, you will see that he is very concerned. I am sure that it was not about the game, but let's pretend that he was that into it. There were also some horse shoe tournaments.
We also got to roast marshmallows and Starburst. Yummy!

At the end of the evening there was a small water fight. Not everyone was involved, but some people got drenched. Since Lucas had been at the water for an hour or so, he joined in the fun. Kathy was the person who started the fight. Considering that she is the oldest, she is quite mischievous.

Overall the day was wonderful. I can't wait to return to that park.
