Fun for the 24th

On the 23rd of July we had a campout in my parents backyard.  We set up the tent and blew up our air mattresses.  The kids were so excited!

The girls were sleeping on an air mattress together and Lucas and I shared.  Ron had to work the next day, so he just slept at home.  I was really nervous, because the girls didn't have cribs to sleep in.  They actually did really good and stayed on the mattress and didn't get up.  Emrie slid off the air mattress a couple of times.  I guess she liked sleeping like that.

Before we went to bed that night, we had a yummy dinner with spare ribs as the main dish.  I made these cheesecake strawberries for dessert.  They were amazing!  Thanks Pinterest.

The kids had fun eating their breakfast casserole out on the deck.

We went on to have a bbq for dinner.  After dinner, Shawn lit off some fireworks for us.  All of the kids loved them, except Eva.  She hid her face in my chest the first half.  Luckily she got used to them and liked watching the rest.  What a fun couple of days!
