I decided to make a few paper chains to help him understand how many more days until the big events that were coming up. The green, yellow and orange was Thanksgiving. The blue was his birthday. And, of course, the red and green one was Christmas. When I was younger, I used to love taking the links off the chains each day. It was so much fun to see him just as excited.

Paper Chains
Lucas really loves to ask us how many sleeps there are until a big event. (We measure days in sleeps around here.) He has been known to ask us several times in one day "How many sleeps until ______?"
I decided to make a few paper chains to help him understand how many more days until the big events that were coming up. The green, yellow and orange was Thanksgiving. The blue was his birthday.
