We went up on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun, even with all the wind. Since it was free, it was quite busy. I definitely want to go back again. After going up to the mine, we went to Riverton Park for a picnic and let the kids play on the playground. What a fun day!

Kennecott Copper Mine
Considering that I grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, I think that it is odd that I have never been to Kennecott. For heaven sakes, you can see it from space and I have never been there! Since I have always wanted to go there, I had been considering suggesting it to the playgroup moms. We just happened to be in luck, the week I was going to suggest it, was the week that it was free. Yahoo!
